The Parents and Grandparents Program application process typically opens once a year. It lets citizens and permanent residents of Canada sponsor their parents and grandparents for Permanent Residence in Canada

How to apply:

You should submit an interest to

sponsor form.

IRCC randomly select and invite potential sponsors to apply to sponsor their parents and grandparents.

 If you’re invited to apply, you should submit your application package by the deadline that’s in your invitation.

Sponsors and/or their co-signers, must provide proof that they have earned at least low income cut-off (LICO) plus 30% in each year during the recent 3 taxation years before being eligible to sponsor their parents or grandparents. 

 

Length of Undertaking for parents/grandparents is 20 years.
