Home child care provider and home support worker pilot
If you have a full-time job offer as a Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100) or Home Support Worker (NOC 44101), or already accumulated 24 months of full-time work experience in one of these occupations, you may qualify to apply for Permanent Residence in Canada.
This is a temporary pilot program that will be in force until June 2024 unless it becomes a permanent program, so it is important to act now if you qualify. We can assist you prepare the most comprehensive and accurate application, fast.
This program is not points-based, it is assessed against the pass and fail selection criteria.
You should meet the following criteria:
- Education: 1-year post-secondary (or higher) credential
- Language proficiency of CLB level 5
- Ability to perform the work (experience, education and certification)

Home Child Care Provider:
- Gaining experience category (those without 24 months of Canadian work experience in these occupations): 35 months
- Direct to PR category (with 24 months Canadian experience): 31 months.
Home Support Worker:
- Gaining experience category: 34 months
- Direct to PR category: 25 months
